How to Foster a Culture of Innovation in Your Organization

Throughout my extensive years in business, having established, scaled, and diversified across various sectors, one truth remains constant: Innovation is the lifeblood of long-term success. From fledgling startups to established corporations, the capacity to innovate distinguishes industry leaders from mere participants. But how does one cultivate an environment where Innovation thrives? The answer lies in understanding and implementing the ‘holy trinity of innovation’ — Culture, Talent, Systems, and Processes.
The Holy Trinity of Innovation
The Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity defines that one God exists in three coequal persons. Each person manifests attributes unique to them, but their essence is one.
Less doctrinally and dogmatically, this is true also for Innovation. Too often, Culture is single-handled picked as the keystone of innovation, of the transformative process which might or might not relate to technology.
However, any functioning culture depends on talent systems and processes. First and foremost, at any given time, a company’s culture is the sum of the collective behavior of talent.
